So the washing machine is beeping at me, vegetable oil just about scrubbed out of the floor from a toddler mishap earlier 🙈, and red wine helping me through a hectic week of juggling kids and work , I thought now would be a good time to do a little intro / update on me. 👋
This is me in a nutshell (apt picture as I look like I’m trying to fit in one 🤔).. I am a self employed, oft frazzled but always thankful Mum of two who loves keeping active, helping other Mums feel good and also showing their kids how much fun fitness can be. I decided to carve out a new career for myself after becoming worn out and stressed in a media career. Although my work now involves spinning around a hell of a lot more than sitting at a desk, I am so much happier and more confident in myself and teaching others fills me with so much joy.
I started my business three years ago teaching a variety of Mum and Baby fitness classes to begin with, and I now run POUND evening classes for Mums after they’ve put kids to bed, weekend Family Fit sessions for fun and games with the whole family , Active Parent and Tots classes for Mums who might have one or more kids of preschool age, and I also run one on one personal training that works around Mums’ busy schedules as well. My aim has always been to offer Mums (and their families) fitness solutions which follow them and work with them through their journey as a parent. I know how hard it is to fit in fitness once you have kids and I also know how important it is to set a good example for your little ones which is why I hope I can offer classes and fitness solutions that do both. Not only does fitness help you physically but also mentally. I can attest to the fact that being a Mum is 💯% not easy but that finding fitness solutions that work for you is not only a way to keep you healthy (and sane) but also helps to set your kids on the right path to keeping active too.👣💪
